How does it work?
Your outlet's ground port connects straight down to the earth. The mat plugs into that port only, never the power. Rest your bare feet or skin on it and your body connects to the earth, the same as standing barefoot on grass.
When would I use it?
Any time you sit still for a while: working at a desk, watching TV, reading, knitting, gaming. Daytime grounding on the mat adds to the hours you get from a grounding cover at night.
Is it safe to plug into the wall?
Yes. The cord connects only to the ground port of your outlet. It draws no electricity, carries no current, and cannot shock you.
